How’s this for confusing?
Chicago, the band, just released a new horn-rock single, America — about the country, not the band.
The tune might be part of Chicago’s upcoming tour of Canada, which includes a Monday, March 10 stop at the Winspear Centre.
Tickets are $56 to $126 plus service charges. On sale: Friday, Oct. 4 via the Winspear’s website or 780-428-1414.
The Illinois natives, who are closing in on their 50th anniversary, are known for such hits as Hard To Say I’m Sorry, Hard Habit To Break and Saturday In The Park.
Like many bands of a similar vintage, Chicago has seen its share of members — but four the band’s founders remain, including keyboardist and singer Robert Lamm.
