Celtic crooner John McDermott will perform Wednesday, April 3 at the Winspear Centre as part of his anniversary tour. Tickets are $47.50 plus service charges. On sale: Tuesday, Sept. 10 via the Winspear’s site or 780-428-1414.
The Scottish-Canadian musician, who regularly opened for The Chieftains, counts Oct. 5, 1993 as the start of his career as a full-time headlining artist. He has since released more than 25 albums, performed with The Irish Tenors, and raised money for war veterans.
